Our God – Day 1 – Drawing Closer to God

I’m so pleased you are starting this journey of drawing closer to God with me today. I hope you have found a quiet place, perhaps with your device to search and read other translations of these scriptures, or other scriptures that the Holy Spirit leads you to – please share these in the comments, and likewise with other worship songs – there are so many wonderful worship songs today.

Be expectant that God will speak to you today, have your pen & paper or word doc etc ready to record what He has to say. This devotion is also available on YouTube.

Let’s get started …. Thank you Jesus for this time to focus on You, please give us ears to hear ….

Our God

Dare to declare these truths over your life and family

Scriptures

No weapon formed against you shall propser, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD. Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. The LORD is their [unyielding] strength, and He is the fortress of salvation to His anointed. Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever. Psalm 28:7-9 AMP
