Christ's sufficiency - Day 29 - Drawing Closer to God

I find it hard to remember what life was like before I became a Christian, about 25 years ago. I wish I’d kept a journal as it would have probably documented my anguish as I tried and tried and tried to work out the path for my life. Forever I will be grateful for God’s grace and mercy in giving me the opportunity to do life with Him through Jesus. Day 29 – Christ’s sufficiency

Jesus will give you the grace you need to get through this day.

Scriptures

Philippians 4 (Amplified version)…

Verse 4 – Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice!

Verse 9 – The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.

Verse 13 – I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfil His purpose – I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

Verse 19 – And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Verse 23 – The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
